YouTube - A World Of Paper

Daryl Hall was featured in a utube video, on a workshop that he organized with Gary Friedman.

Gary introduces puppetry using sheets of plain brown paper.  By twisting, folding and scrunching you create creatures and such.  He uses spot lights to capture shadows and bring these sheets of paper to life.

Daryl said, "It had changed my perspective on puppetry, if he ever does another tour I recommend him for anyone in acting or especially puppetry.  It was one of the best days I have ever spent doing a workshop and helps me look at anything and see how I can bring it to life.  Just after the workshop we had 16 participants (the limit) and they all wrote me and kept talking about how this workshop has helped them in both life and acting, clowning or motivating their creative spirit.  I was glad we put it all together in about two weeks and how it turned out so successful.  In the video, all the shots with orange/peachy walls were filmed at our workshop in Vancouver, BC.  I didn't get a speaking part but I show up about three times (LOL)(white t-shirt and green pants thin and shoulder length hair) (some times only my arms get in as I manipulate the paper puppets)".
